Central Virginia Basketball Honors Banquet

All proceeds earned from the Honors Banquet will go directly into our non-profit organization and, as requested, funds may be earmarked to support our The BD Basketball Scholarship Program. This program was created in 2006 in order to fund Charlottesville-area scholarships to BD Basketball teaching programs for youth who could not afford to participate in such opportunities. At this annual function, noteworthy speakers come to share their experiences and the ways in which BD Basketball has made an impact on their lives, and contributions are solicited. In addition, we recognize local-area athletes who most exude the qualities and values espoused by the BD Basketball School. Each year this event serves to bring together those in the community who already support BDBS, those interested in learning more about being a part of this worthy cause and those special student-athletes that represent their schools and their programs in an upstanding manner.

Location:	Omni Hotel (dressy-casual attire)
Banquet Time:	6:30 - 8:30 pm
Food:	All-you-can-eat buffet
Cost:	$35.00 per person, $500 per reserved table (10 per table)
Cause / Proceeds go to:	BD Basketball Foundation (funding Charlottesville-area summer camp scholarships)
Keynote Speaker:	Gene Corrigan (former UVA Athletic Director, ACC Commissioner and President of the NCAA)
What You Receive:	T-Shirt, All-you-can-eat Catered Italian Buffet, Fellowship with community members, An opportunity to honor area student athletes and listen to community speakers
What You Give:	Opportunities/funding for the BD Basketball Foundation (Charlottesville-area summer camp scholarships for disadvantaged youth in our community), Support to a worthy cause
