All proceeds earned from “C’ville Hoops 3-on-3” will go directly into The BD Basketball Scholarship Program. This program was created in 2006 in order to fund Charlottesville-area summer camp scholarships for youth who could not afford such opportunities. Initially, the BDSF funded only programs provided by the BD Basketball School. However, the mission has expanded, and now will help provide scholarships for kids to attend any enrichment programs offering a positive, educational environment that will challenge youngsters to reach their full potential. Specific participating camp/enrichment partner-programs are being researched. Funds for our foundation are overseen by Scholarship Foundation committee members made up of parent volunteers on our Parent Council. Click here for more information on our Honors Banquet.
